Two styles of accommodation available: B&B in the farmhouse in the Riverview Room with it's own bathroom for $140 per couple a night, as well as The Cabbage Tree - our self catering apartment which sleeps 2, and is quite separate, for $65 per night - a bargain, and great for longer stays!

Te Ngahere Iti'Te Ngahere Iti' is Maori for The Little Forest. The house is located in unspoiled New Zealand forest. Our eco-friendly home is surrounded by native trees and birds. We welcome you into their home and will provide you with a genuine New Zealand forest experience. The property is situated adjacent to the Herekino State Forest and on a gravel road about 2½ hours from Whangarei and 5 hours from Auckland. (We are located about two and a half hours north of Whangarei, in the Kaitaia region.) Price: NZ$100 per couple per night.
